Many items will be securely padded to ensure that they are not chipped or damaged during transport. Blanket wrapping is available for furniture items. All heavy furniture and boxes will be loaded on the bottom of the truck in order to ensure that no items are damaged during shipping.

Our experts at VKH Movers use the best equipment to move items from your old home to the truck to you new home. Customized crates and other packing materials are available upon request.

Appointment Cancellation / Change
If you need to change or cancel your move for any reason, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice.
How do I make my move go faster?
Our team will do everything to make your move as fast as possible. But you can help us to do it even faster. Please box up all loose stuff, have boxes ready in one spot, keep pets and kids out of the way.
Should I tip my movers?
It is customary to tip movers, but it is completely up to you. If you feel the movers worked hard and took care of you, then a tip is much appreciated.
Should I reserve an elevator ?
This is very important thing you can do to speed up your move if you're using an elevator. Talk to your super or concierge and try to make sure to reserve it for your moving day. Using an elevator can actually take more time than the stairs if your movers have to compete with other residents for its use!

Great job and very friendly! They moved us from Arlington to Alexandria but we had a storage unit, apartment and POD full and they took the time to move everything efficiently and without breakage. The staff was extremely friendly and easy to work with... Prices are about $10 more per hour than other companies that I receive quotes from but the level of service and how comfortable I felt with them in my home was well worth it!
